I have been divorced for 6 years. My atterney at the time failed to have the judge cancell my life Insurance policy. My husband is the owner and benificary of my policy. I suspect foul play in a few deaths of his other ex wifes, but no proof. I have time now because I'm not working, due to a breast cancer diognoses. How can I cancell my policy??? My husband had me sign so many papers, I don't know the name of the Insurance Company now. I know for sure he is still paying the premeiums. Please help me!

While it is true that some information may be lacking,
My husband had 2 seizures and almost died.
andDidn’t she and his ex-girlfriend go to jail for murder charges two years back?
one of your problems Mango is that you don't read well.
Is there a way to force the ex wife to cancel the policy
andWhose life insurance policy was that? You ex husband’s or his ex wife’s?
According to the statement, which we have no way of validating, the policy is owned by the ex-wife.
Is there a way to force the ex wife to cancel the policy
No one but the owner can decide whether to terminate a policy or not.
As for the beneficiary, what difference does that make? It must be the ex-wife if the statement
she would pay off the EX girlfriend's lease on her apartment with the insurance money
is even remotely believable. You have . . . completely made a mess of the whole thing
Not nearly as much as Mango has. There is nothing to prevent the OP from obtaining insurance on her husband, with his cooperation. It has nothing to do with being "more concerned about inheriting his fortune than his health".
wouldn't my policy be recognized first in the event of his death, since I am his spouse; his next of kin?
No, there is nothing that would interfere with that newer policy's death benefit being paid in the event of her husband's death. But being a spouse is not the same as being "next of kin" -- that's what a parent, child or sibling is.
The OP seems to think that only one life insurance policy will pay a claim, which is incorrect. All policies in force will be paid following the insured's death..
