My son was in an automobile accident and very recently passed away. It is believed he left his life insurance and his accidental death insurance to a former girlfriend and there are no children involved. I would like to fight this would it be possible.

I like that all this maothers hope wasn't shredded away. I think she was answered in an honest way without slamming total reality in her face. Yes chances are nothing can be done but good for the person who encourage her to continue fighting and holding some hope...it just may get her through a few more days. For what it worth SD I too agree with you.
