Why do you want to purchase life policies in multiple nations without being a resident in any of these? :?

Please show me if I've missed any point.

Hello Avia....like Jeremy I don't quite understand why you would need life insurance in multiple countries, but regardless there are companies that provide international insurance.

MNU(Multinational Underwriters Inc.) is one of them. It is designed for people that do a lot of relocating or international students. On their site it seems that the life insurance (100k) is attached to the health insurance they offer. But another site for international students and travelers seems to suggest that their is a separate life insurance plan. Go there and and have a quote done and maybe you can get more info

This is actually interesting timing for me as my oldest will be going to college in England next year and the whole insurance aspect of that had not even occurred to me.

Hope this helps. P$C

Hi picklesandchampagne,

Does the MNU aim to serve specific groups? Or is it available to all travelers?
From your words it seemed as if they're up-selling life policies.

Great info Pickle :)

However what worried me is that the OP is particularly asking for term life policies. The OP hasn't mentioned whether he is relocating or going to work in those places. I think until we know more about his objective we can't really comment on this issue. What do you say?

It would seem that they offer it to all travelers. ANd they mention on the auxiliary site that term life insurance is available separately. Here is the link...

Yeh...the specific needs would help in doing the research. So what is your situation Avia?

Pickle, I think MNU would offer policies only to people of US if they are travelling abroad. However, I doubt that our OP is an American citizen since he has also inquired about policies in USA. Are MNU policies available to travellers of other countries too?

Please go through the Terminal illness policy option in the link and see if you can explain it to me.

Does it mean that half of the policy limit will be paid when the insured is diagnosed and the remaining half of the limit will be paid when the insured has 12 months or less to live?
