Those are all very important points in selecting a life insurance representative. One might also find out if a representative specializes in a demographic you belong to.
Example: You are a 45-year old business owner. So does the representative service a number of clients that are business owners over 40, or are most of their clients w-2 employees age 25 - 40? How much does the rep. understand about people with your specific lifestyle?
Also, is the rep. well-versed in other types of insurance so that they can possibly spot other areas that may need to be addressed...are they a good resource for financial information in general?
This goes back to determining which rep. can give you the best service.

WOW!!!!!! These are ALL great points!! Also......I would like to put my '2 cents' in this one, too. Is the Insurance Agent/Broker professional?.. not being 'pushy' when the consumer isn't interested for whatever reason? ..is the Agent/Broker TRULY there for the consumer and NOT himself?
