Your post makes little sense. WC does not pay for homes... it pays when an employee is injured on the job. If you had no WC then you were not paying a premium. Did it not strike you as odd that there was no bill?

As far as the 2nd part of your post.. it makes no sense. Please post in English with complete/correct sentences and that might help.

Workers' compensation has nothing to do with being compensated for performing construction work. It has to do with being injured on the job and being compensated for medical expenses and lost time from work.

So I think you are very confused.

If you performed construction work as a subcontractor and have not been paid for that work, you should have filed a mechanic's lien against the property owner within 20 days of completing the work. It's probably way too late to do that now, and any attempt to do so will be thrown out by a court on motion for summary judgment.

Now, you probably need to hire an attorney to assist you. That will cost you up to 45% of whatever they recover on your behalf.

You might want to take some classes in how to be a contractor/subcontractor to avoid this situation in the future.
