Have had policy in IL for 5 years and this summer had to make 2 claims due to water damage. My policy was about $600 a year. Now i cannot get coverage from any other company! what to do i need a new policy by JAn1st.
please help

If your claims got settled for the right reasons, then you should find coverage. It seems you're staying at a flood-prone area. If so, I'd like to know what all options the other residents in that locality are going for. Roddick

Sounds like you need to do a little shopping around for a new insurer painguy. Fortunately there are plenty of places you can get get quotes quickly and easily.
In your case it's more important than others to make sure you get accurate quotes specific to where you live. An of the Zipcode based sites should be able to point you towards some good options.

Also, make sure you can prove that the previous damage you were "paid" for was repaired. Even companies who offer coverage to applicants with prior claims want to be sure the repairs were made.
