My home is a wood frame. My insurance agents says it will cost more to insure than a brick home? That doesn’t make any sense. A brick home costs more to build.

Wood frame houses are susceptible to fire in a way that concrete block and brick homes are not. That makes wood frame houses more expensive to insure.
