i have old vinyl siding that cannot be matched, being im paying up the whazoo for premium for replacement do i get replacement or crappy repair mix and match?

As I understand it, insurance companies will usually replace it up to a break, such as a corner.
You paid premiums for an assumption of risk.... which the carrier has been doing each and every year. It's not a dollar for dollar service.

The "match" will not be covered by insurance policies. Policies are meant to repair an area where the damages have been caused. If one of your walls has been damaged, then they won't repair all the walls.

It comes down to putting the person in the same condition they were before the loss. "Matching" is done all of the time. Look at carpet replacement.
