Would my home insurance pay if I remodel or upgrade some features of my old home?

Your question is not clear. Are you asking, if you add things to your home are those additions covered if they suffer damages? Depends on what they are and how your policy reads. Additions/improvements are not specifically excluded and would probably be covered but again, it depends on what they are.

What I mean to say is, that parts of my house have become old and worn out, I want to remodel those parts. Can the expenses of remodeling be cover by my homeowners policy?
I'm partially disabled and living on my DI, it would really mean a lot for my savings if it gets covered by my home insurance. But I am doubtful about it. Please provide information on this.

No, insurance does not cover remodeling... the purpose of insurance is to put the person back into the position they were before a loss. If it covered remodeling why would everyone not simply remodel their homes to the tune of the policy limits each and every day.
