How long ago was the construction done? For example, in CA, a contractor must, in most cases, make his work good up to ten years after the construction was completed.

Sunroom about 13 years old so I am not sure I can go back on original contractor. Whats confusing is insurance company two years ago agreed to have a new roof placed on sunroom but didnt question the structure then

Agreed for what reason? Did you have the work done then, or did you pocket the money? Or have you been fooling around for two years?
