Leaning tree in my property fell over my neighbor’s, causing roof damage. Will my insurance have to pay?

In most cases if it is your tree that fell on a neighbors roof the neighbor would file a claim with their own insurance company. If their insurance company felt that you were liable they would then attempt to recover money from your insurance company.

The "leaning" aspect of your statement might be important. What do you mean exactly? If you were aware that it was likely to fall and failed to address the issue, then your liability insurance coverage might be triggered
