Can a claim be denied because a roof was repaired and not re

Our mobilehome was insured by Foremost during hurricane Ike (2008). We had a lot of damage including roof damage. Foremost gave us an initial check for $1000.00 to get the repairs started. We had our roof repaired for $1979.69.

After Ike Foremost quit writing insurance in Brazoria County TX. We had to find a different company, Ranchers & Farmers Mutual Insurance Company. On Christmas Day (2012) we had a storm that blew shingles off our roof. I filed a claim and it was denied because our roof was fixed and not replaced after Ike. Can this be right?

What _actual_ exclusion was mentioned for the denial? It's easier to understand if you mention this.

Are you able to produce evidence that the repairs were completed in 2008? That might resolve this problem.

What is the exact reason they mentioned for declined? if you mentioned clearly only can give any suggestion so make your question little brief.
