My ex has prohibited the insurance company and agents from talking to me although they have our belongings in storage. We have now heard all our belongings were returned to the property which has not had any work completed as they paid him money to get it done himself. It seems he has gained from our written off belongings, which were considerable but refuses to discuss or provide information although I have a beneficial interest in the property when (if ) fit to sell.
If he committed mortgage fraud is the insurance claim valid?
Is it legal for him to claim money and benefit from our losses?
