Unhappy with insurance, seeking new,

I would like to find a new insurance company and would like to know when selecting a new company does the company have to come out and see the house? Or can you purchase a policy without someone coming to see the home?

Based on my past experience, the agent is typically able to bind coverage over the phone unless there is something unusual about the property. Once the policy has been written most insurance companies will do an inspection of the property. Many times these inspections take place without your knowledge as they may only require an exterior inspection of the property, however depending on the insurance company and the specifics of the home they may wish to do a more detailed inspection.

I agree. An agent shouldn't need to come and inspect your home or other structures you are considering getting insured. Your policy should cover all dwellings on your property, for example your detached garages or guest home. Other structures can also be defined as swimming pools, hot tubs, decks, patios and other structures on your land.

Most insurance agencies inspect the property via satellite photo coverage. they may also request for a visit. Make sure you are available for the visit or it may affect your premium.

I believe it depends upon the agent you have hired. in my case, the agent has been very helpful.

Every company verify assets before offering the insurance. Yes it is compulsory. Dont worry about this procedure as all such are company rules. Yes, i can suggest you Rais insurance company as they are offering the insurance since 1982. They are genuine and trustable.
