do you need to notify your insurance com[any if no one is living in the home. All household possessions are in the home. Can your insurance company cancel your policy. No one is living in the home do to refusing to sell as the person is an assisted living facility.

I don' think there is any need to inform your insurance company that you are not living in your home [deleted as per TOU] .They will not cancel your policy .

Be very careful with this situation. Their are different policies utilized for different situations as well as many policies state procedures that need to be followed if nobody is living in the home. I would absolutely let them know, if it is not a problem let them tell you so but the worst time to find out that you have a problem is after a loss happens.
