My air conditioning unit was damaged in a wind storm..my insurance company wants to repair instead of replacing..I have 3 estimates stating it needs to be replaced but the company that they sent out to investigate said it is repairable...what can I do to appeal or dispute this??? help please we are without air and its getting hot outside!! Cool

If they continue to refuse to replace it as your contractors recommend, let their guy do the 'repair' so long as he is willing to warranty and guaranteed his work. You may be surprised to find that once you reach out to their guy offering him the job he does not want it.

Let them repair the air conditioner provided that they offer a warranty for their work.
