A few days back I went in for a vacation. It was this time that my beloved car got stolen from my carport. We got back and reported this incident to both the police as well as the insurance co. But still I'd like to ask the community friends whether I'm going the right direction !

hi, we presume that your insurance co. has acknowledged your claim by way of your comprehensive coverage since you reported everything within a specified time frame. We can feel the intense criticism that you'd undergone, but believe me it would have been a lot better if you could arrange for someone who'd let your house look the same way while you're away. Small things like visiting your place atleast once each day to collect the daily newspaper, mails or putting the lights on during the evening would have helped you prevent bigger financial losses resulting out of theft or burglary. Make sure that you become more careful next time you move out and let someone in charge of your home. wish you come up a triumphant. :D

hey, don't worry… its natural that its not possible for all to keep strict vigilence while they are away !
But make sure even if you'd need to leave it upto the law enforcement to keep an eye, jus place an emergency number with them wherein you could be reached anytime. I mean...thats the best precaution that you may take under such circumstances.

hi, why don't you enquire about the anti-theft measures from your broker ?
I'm sure it would let you achieve some discount for your home and auto insurance!
be a winner :D
