I live in a row home in philly and 2 years ago our neighbors, who were a house flipping company, were adding in a third floor in their house and left the side of my house open. We had a massive rain and the water poured in through the walls causing 6k worth of damage. I went through our insurance and they have been trying to subrogate. My insurance said they closed the case because they were not able to get a response from the house flipping company or their insurance. I am furious. We had tried dealing with them directly and they were extremely rude, hung up on us multiple times and yelled at us to come sue them saying they’re not paying. They also damaged our back fence and the banging caused all our frames to fall of the wall. They also used polyurethane sealing which smelled up our house for 2 weeks while I was pregnant ! They did reimburse for the frames and fence. Is there anything I can do now that the case is closed ?
