Hi Jeremy!
Be sure that the sole purpose of an auto liability policy is to contribute only when the owner or an authorized driver has found guilty of such an act which can be termed 'unintentional' and may have inflicted some amount of damage or injury in terms of property or human bodies. Hope now you got it well!

Hi ! Do you wanna consider a scenario where in a driver has deliberately hit the car ??
Under such circumstances, the driver's insurer would not be considered legally liable to pay for the damages. It can be simply justified since it was the driver's intention. You may let it get decided by the court as to what extent it would be the driver's liability. In this case, the insurance company may stay away.
Thanks, Evan T. Smith.

Guys, Lets not get carried away while we are citing examples, lest we forget that all thats been said are merely about liability insurance. We are by no means taking other forms of insurance into consideration over here eg. collision, comprehensive and medical. This is important since we have to remember that these forms of insurance play a vital role towards hazards as well, but would only contribute under other circumstances. So don't get confused!
