We have a teenager staying with us in the form of my wife's son with her ex-husband. He has a lot of street accidents to his credit already. Now all these have started spoiling my insured future. What steps do I need to take?

hi!
Did you receive any written notice stating a non-renewal of your policy from your insurer ? And that too you should have received 20 days prior to your renewal date! regards, Penelope Albright

Hi,
Why don't you chat with your insurance advisor towards getting a driver's exclusion for your present one?
Yeah, getting another policy thru your broker is obviously there but you need to rethink. Evan T. Smith

Hi all! If the teenager's name gets included in the exclusion, then he won't even be covered under any emergency situation and will not be regarded as authorized to drive your car anymore. Darkblueeyez

My teenage son was in a minor accident (<$1000) and our insurance company was going to drop us. I was able to get an exclusion for him and managed to find a very reasonably priced policy for him (I am also listed as a driver on that one).
