hi,
I own a vehichle that was insured in the state of maryland. i moved to georgia. my insurance lasped for a few days. i got insurance with geico in georgia even though my car was registed in maryland. okay, i still have a maryland driver license. i was dropped by geico because of missed payment. I then got insured by progressive which is current insurance. However, no state of maryland says my tags are suspended for no proff of insurance. i am still paying progressive dor insurance. i now have a georgia drivers license. iwas given a citation for no proof o insurance and suspended tags. how do i get ths reolved. maryland wants their tags back. can i get tags in georgia before sending them back.?????? please help. my court date is on 4/11/08

(Just a comment).....a friend of mine was pulled ovr for a DUI (her 2nd one). She had no insurance coverage on the vehicle (I knew she didn't). I'll tell ya...she has some MAJOR fines and will get her DL suspended. I told her so!! You would think people would listen when 'you' tell them something!!

I got pulled over for a suspended tags which I didnt know was suspended, the officer told me to apply for a new tag and he will throw out the citation for me but not sure if I can get a new tag if the old one was suspended.

Usually when it comes to Tags, Insurance (that kind of thing..) you would receive something in the mail. (Putting my '2 cents' in again) Things concerning 'your' vehicle (tags, etc),.....how would people NOT know if something is 'wrong' (lack of a better word)? If your Insurance expired, Registration is out of date,..that kind of thing. I would think people would be more responsible. (I'm not saying this TOWARD the OP. Just saying this 'in general').

I got a ticket for proof of no insurance they asked me to bring all my insurance records to court house so I did the court said I gave them adequate proof and dimissed the ticket and court date but last night got pulled over and car impounded for suspended tags so what do I do now? Please help thanks

Hey my car got impounded because my tags where flagged due to a laps on my insurance. What do I have to do to get new tags so I can get my car back?

Exactly how perform a reverse license plate owner check up? I wish to know whether there is any sort of way you can type in a license plate number on the internet and see the contact of the individual if it belongs to or the address of that individual.
