Car Accident in Pennsylvania:
I was hit by a driver crossing lanes without signalling lane change, she slammed into me and pushed me into a another vehicle which happened to be driven by her husband.
upon arrival of the police I learned that she was also driving on a suspended license due to a DUI. and is prone to having seizures. she had one on scene when police told her she was being arrested.
Accident details:
I was driving in the center lane, right lane was occupied by driver who hit me, lefthand turning lane was occupied by another vehicle which was her husband.
she cut into my lane i hit my brakes her driver side door hit into my passenger front side pushed me into the left hand turning lane and I rear ended that vehicle.
can I sue her outside of the insurance?? or her husband for him knowing that she had a suspension?
no serious injuries occurred to myself or my 11yr old son. Which I'm Thankful for. my vehicle was towed from the scene. I understand that the state of Pennsylvania has different laws then most states.
I'm a single mom of 5 children and desperately need a vehicle and transportation, my income is very limited despite working 2 jobs. I do have full coverage and collision coverage, but I have heard and read that her insurance co can deny the claim. I just purchased the vehicle in Jan 2015, and it's not paid off.
To add more detail The girl at fault was screaming at me for hitting her brand new vehicle that she just left the dealership with. why and how did the dealership let her drive off with a suspended license in a brand new car? can they too be held responsible?
Eye witnesses stopped and gave statements stating that she did in fact hit into me
Is there anything I can do? If so what?
This isn't really about money but I feel that many people should be held if nothing else morally liable.

No, because you don't have a loss directly related to this. She should be issued a citation for this and will face a lot of fines.why and how did the dealership let her drive off with a suspended license in a brand new car?
1) who's to say she drove it off the lot and 2) dealerships don't/can't get this information from the DMV just like you and I can't get this information. On face value there is no way to tell this from looking at someone's drives license. Lastly, it's not really the dealerships responsibility to police people.Add your comment
