I was rear-ended while stopped at a red light. I recently found out my husband did not add medical payments to our policy. I'm stuck having to pay out of pocket, but don't have the money to do so. I have been recommended for physical therapy, but again don't have the money to pay up front. I'm in St Louis, Mo.

Hey Gee,
I'm truly sorry to hear of your plight!

Has the other party been regarded at-fault?
What does the police report say?
I guess your PIP coverage has lapsed and you are not in a position to feed your medical charges. Please provide us with more information.

More information is needed. In many states medical payments are included in your basic policy. by this I mean that the state requires the insurer to provide you with a basic amount of insurance, and you must have this basic amount of coverage. I am not familiar with MO law so I cant say that is this case there, but as I said more information is needed.

Hey Chad, would you tell us more about this type of coverage? Is it medpay you are mentioning? As far I know Medapy too like PIP is an optional coverage in Missouri. IMO the OP can definitely benefit if medical payment coverage is available as basic coverage with the auto policies.
