Should you say 'Yes' to rental car insurance?

Frequent business traveler James Smith says he''s saved "tons of money" during the past 30 years declining car rental companies'' optional insurance coverage. But, he acknowledges, it could have come in handy at times.

My own two cents on this; if you make a habit of returning cars with some damage and you don't have rental car insurance, then they might just stop serving you altogether. They might also not serve you unless you have rental car insurance.

It can be very expensive, but then again, you'll probably use that car for a week and never see it again.
