The awards season is just beginning, and that includes those handed out by the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA National).
Between now and January 30, the organization is accepting nominations for three prestigious national awards: Professional Agent of the Year Award, the PIA National Customer Service Representative (CSR) of the Year Award, and the PIA National Young Insurance Professional of the Year Award.
The National Professional Agent of the Year Award is given to one outstanding professional insurance agent who is a member of PIA. Nominations for this award are made by PIA state and regional affiliate associations.
"To be named by one''s PIA peers throughout the nation as Agent of the Year is truly a distinction that has no parallel," said Kenneth R. Auerbach, president of PIA National. "As an agent-driven association, the recognition afforded each year to one of our fellow member agents has special significance."
The CSR of the Year Award is given to an outstanding agency customer service representative who works for a PIA member insurance agency. Nominations for this award are made by PIA members. The award is sponsored again this year by The Hartford, a member carrier of The Partnership (formerly the PIA-CCEO).
"We have long recognized and appreciated the variety of responsibilities CSRs have within their agencies," said Juan Andrade, executive vice president, Sales & Distribution, The Hartford. "We especially admire the role they play in providing exceptional service for their customers."
