At least one major insurer is offering job-loss protection plans with its high-end individual disability insurance policies.
The Guardian Life Insurance Co. of America has set its sights on professionals looking for occupation-specific income protection who might otherwise put off buying coverage because of the recession. About three in 10 U.S. households have some disability insurance. Of that, 5% have individual policies, according to LIMRA, a financial-services research organization.

It might be a bit difficult to pay for the premiums during the current recession, but I believe all of us should start thinking about it. Of course, we'd need to go through the benefits that are being offered under such programs and know how much we can afford to pay for maintaining such coverage.

I don't know of anyone who posts pocily forms on line for just anyone to look at they are proprietary information. When standard ISO forms are used, the contracts with ISO don't let those particular forms be posted on the internet. You have to subscribe (pay) to see them.
