It is a form of mandatory Automobile insurance, where the accident victims are being paid the basic damages by the company with which the car is being insured.
With this insurance it is not required to prove for the involving parties in the accident that who is at fault. Instead for an insured it is only required to prove the injury (in terms of bodily injury or property damage) in a car accident.
Insurance carriers provide up to a specific amount of coverage to the insured regardless of the responsible person in the accident.

No Fault Insurance, in true No Fault form, is insurance that covers a stated risk regardless of who was at fault in the event of a covered loss.
