I have been offered a position to work for commission only as a producer for a Property & Casualty agent. In return he is giving me very flexible hours to be with my family, however I will still be putting in 25 to 30 hours a week. What would be considered a good commission percentage for new and renewal business?

well It will depend upon the skills and experience you bring to the table and your views on how much your time is worth and how much do you expect for these 25-30 hours of your week. based on that you can calculate an average value and a commission percentage.
