Public adjuster's license in Colorado

I had class D felonies twenty years ago in the state of Indiana and did prison time for it. Nothing since I want to get a public adjusters license in Colorado. Will the insurance department deny me?

If your "Class D" felonies are within the list of crimes identified in the Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act (18 U.S.C. 1033,1034) then the answer is that you could be denied a license as an agent or an adjuster. It will require a "Consent Waiver" from the Dept of Insurance.
