Hi There,
Personal accident insurance is the same as accidental death and dismemberment. Many reputable companies offer these policies and employers often offer them as group supplements to life insurance policies. These policies usually cover things not covered due to bodily injury or death that are covered by other policies. Some available coverages may include lost wages for temp./perm. disability, child care assistance, education assistance for children of insured, reimbursement for valid and necessary medical expenses, as well as many others. Each policy can vary.
Hope this helps.

Hi Purple..
AD&D may also include expenses towards hearing problems as well as loss of sight. The benefits are flexible to cover rehabilitation, daycare continuation, loss of your hand/foot,quadriplegia, hemiplegia, paraplegia etc.
Employees (in general) are supposed to receive these benefits directly from the carrier.

Hi,
I guess there are some attractive coverage benefits which would come under Personal Accident Insurance-
* Hospitalization charges associated with accident injuries
* Air transportation expenses following accidental injuries
* Choosing a hospital or doctor as per your choice
* Benefits that are aimed to you directly
Thanks, Roddick

Hi..I guess the Nada personal accident insurance could be a good option.
Nada is well aware of the dealers and claims to operate with the best carrier. But yeah, there's one thing you'd need to remember. This program is offered only to it's members, ones who've been employed by them and the spouses.
One good thing about this program is that this program shows you through a number of payment methods that fall within your budget. Irrespective of whether you'd choose 100% premiums for your key staff and preferred employees, it would always help you to have the best-suited option.

Is AD&D insurance a kind of auto insurance. Just had this confusion for a long time.

There can often times be an AD&D component on your auto insurance, but no in the most pure sense it is not a kind of auto insurance. It falls under life and health.
