Could you please tell me if it is possible to combine the personal auto policy with the company's policy in case that company does not purchase the car?

My personal understanding is that you should keep the auto policy and your business separate so that you can deal with the internal revenue service. And you will be able to put your expense reports related to business and your personal car. :)

The combination of liability of the personally owned vehicle which is being insured in the company name is what is more important. In recent days the established companies are keeping the personal and the business liabilities separate; this is because, if you have a major accident, the third can sue you and your company assets as well . So my advice is that don't even try to combine those personal auto policy with that of your company insurance.

Recently in some states, the local DMV requires the registration name to verify the insurance name; this prevents insuring personal vehicles in company's name.
