Got married, bought house together, got divorced but still lived together in house. Had pmi and specifically asked lender if this ins would pay off our home if one of us died. Lender told us yes on several occasions. It would b covered so our kids would at least still have our home. Husband dies and bank for loses on me two years later. Was I misled. I never got anything stating pmi wouldn't cover. Actually I never heard anything at all from them. I have tried to speak with them on several occasions and all I get are questions with questions.

My son was killed in an accident. He was single, so as a parent
I will receive his investments after probate. Does PMI pay the mortgage on his Home?
