I was hit by someone who run a STOP sign and I am dealing with car accident claim against the at-fault party right now.
I paid the doctor visit through my health insurance with only 30 dollars co-pay. Now the at-fault party insurance finally accept the liability. Could I claim the total expense towards them or I could only claim my out of pocket expense?
Anyone have experiences?

Hi, you may forward the copay and deductibles to your auto insurance agent or the adjuster, and ask them to consider it for a 'medical pay'.

You may ask for the entire medical bill. However, the health insurance company may ask for a refund once you get paid by the at fault driver's insurer. You need to sort it out with the health insurance company.

Jeremy's (of course) correct..You're entitled to the total amount of the medical bills, (within reason), but again, your health carrier will likely subrogate this back from you. So don't spend that part of your settlement until you hear from them.
