I recently filed a claim and was told I didn't pay annual premium.
I never received an invoice or notice of any kind, which they agree is true. I have used this same insurance company for this property since i owned the house, about 6 years. The lady who handled my stuff left, and there seems to have been no follow up. Don't they have to invoice me and/or let me know i am in danger of being dropped before they cancel me?

Did you not pay your premium?I never received an invoice or notice of any kind, which they agree is true
They had to have sent a bill (usually 30 to 60 day BEFORE it's due)..Did they send it to an incorrect address? Where did they send the bill?Don't they have to invoice me and/or let me know i am in danger of being dropped before they cancel me?
Well, yes, and no...Check your states dept of ins. web site, and see what is required of them. You know you have to pay your premium every year. It's due the same time every year. How did you pay it the previous six years? Did you mail it? Drop it at the agents office? Have it in an escrow account with your mortgage? Direct debit from one of your bank accounts? How was it paid?Add your comment
