I'd sue everyone. Heck, just file suit now. Don't wait and see what happens or what you can get without filing suit.

You don't need to "file suit" to collect from at fault parties. have you been in contact with their insurance companies yet?

Depends on the circumstances and state law as to who you can sue. Why do you feel you want to sue? If there is reason to, you need to start documentig everything. And I mean everything. Take extremely detailed notes. I would say half of the claims I have investigated where the claimant recieved little or no comensation, was because they brought nothing to the table, even though the probably had a legit claim. Notes are your friends. Now is not the time to get sue happy (not that you are) now is the time to get smart.

Neither insurance company contact me back yet? Have anyone had problems with Allstate? One of the at fault drivers was driving  a truck.

I have Allstate and have never had any problems, but then again I have heard a lot of horror stories from other policy holders.

The way both companies deal with this really depends on the circumstanaces of the accident. Meaning, how were they both at fault. Did they both rear end you some how? Did one hit you in the front and one in the rear? When damages overlap, it makes settling the loss a little more difficult. Both companies have to decide what they owe for for the damage to your vehicle, and your statement to them might make it easier. Say you were tapped in the rear by one vehicle and then slammed into again by the same vehicle because the second driver pushed them into you again. If you have your own coverage, it is usually eaiser to handle the property damage through your own carrier and let them fight it out.

If you were injured, that becomes more difficult depending again on the circumstances of the accident and the extent of the injury.
