Hello Friends,
You are not at fault. You make a claim with other person's insurance. Does this also effect your own insurance? Or is it only when you claim with your own insurance that your premium goes up?
One more question. You have full coverage. You get in an accident. You think you are not at fault. What is the right way to claim? Should you claim with the other person's insurance? Or, as you have full coverage, should you let your insurance deal with everything?
Thank you for your replies

The truth is sometimes different than what we tend to believe. Do you have any witnesses to support your views?
What does the police report say?
Does this also effect your own insurance?
If you're not at-fault and claim with the at-fault party's insurance, then I don't see any reason why your cost should increase. Yes, it's always better to follow the suggestions of your carrier.
