Need to insure my vehicle without my 17 year old added on it.

I guess, it's a much better idea to add your teenager to your policy, but only after explaining things clearly. Teenagers should know the worth of their inclusion as well as the governing state rules.

If he lives in the house and has a license, the insurance company can charge for him. He is covered if he ever uses the vehicle so they have to rate the policy based on his license.
