By TIA I'm assuming transietn ischemic attack or pre stroke. Possibly he's still insurable, but what would make you want ot move from your current policy to a paid up one?

Unlikely with a TIA, but you may find some high risk carriers. That being said, you may not get a lot of bang for your buck.

More details are needed:

1. What is the current policy's death benefit?

2. What is its cash value?

3. How long is it guaranteed?

4. Whole life or universal life?

5. How much coverage do you need and/or are looking for?

6. What state are you in?
