I was rear ended last year my car was totalled and I sustained a soft tissue injury with pains on my neck and shoulder. My total medical bill was about 14000 and my health insurance paid for it which then brougth the total negotiated cost to about 10000. The lady who rear ended me, her insurance company is offering me 5000 for pain and suffering as well as reimbursing my heath insurer for the bill they paid. My treatment lasted about 8 months. What do you sugget I do accept the offer or get an attorney involved.
