If my car is totaled after an accident in Texas, doesn't the other insurance company have to pay for a rent car for me? At least until I can find another car to purchase? Or, at the very least until they pay me for my car? The accident was their person's fault. Is there any case law to back you up? they don't want to reimburse rent car charges i had to pay

Reasonable expenses are what we pay in Pa for a rental car. Undoubtably there is a mix up, if you are 0% at fault they will normally pay for the rental until you get a check for your car.
