mortgage insurer says because the home my son is purchasing is a converted shed, they will not provide mortgage insurance. Property has valued sufficiently, and the dwelling was reclassified as a livable dwelling because of the work done by the previous owner. Is there anything that can be done? Would a guarantor help? The sale was due to close next week!
