Does an auto insurance policy have to be in the same name at the car loan?

(Just some advice here).....if you get an Auto policy in YOUR name, for someone else, just becareful. There has to be a reason why the other person can't get it in their name. I don't know if this is the case..........but, I'm just 'throwing it out there'.

Insurable interest must exist at the time of loss, or the Vehicle insurance claim can be denied. This means the policyholder must have some sort of financial interest in the vehicle when the accident happens, or they claim won't be paid.
