I was unaware of hitting any car and the police report she made did not make sense. She said she was backing out of a stall and was in the drive lane when she heard a loud scrape and then my car came around her. She said I probably hit her as we were both backing out. I didn't hear anything and never noticed any damage on my car. Now 18 months later she is making an insurance claim. Also the lanes at the parking lot she is talking about are too narrow for cars to pass. They are one way only so I could not have passed her.

unless there was a witness or some tangible evidence (paint swap), its going to be tough to enforce you being responsible. Its your word against hers, there has to be some realiable proof you caused the damage...not to mention 18 mos later? why now? sounds sketchy.
in my state, if both parties are backing, each can have a responsiblilty in sharing in the loss....many times found 50/50...so in this case, most likely she would be resposible for her damages and you for yours anyway. since she has filed a claim, i would discuss w/ your adjuster, they should give you some additional advice per your state's guidlines...pls post the outcome. thx
