Also, I was just diganosed with the gestational diabetes. I am assuming that I could not file for disability since I am not currently employed. Although, maybe that would help me if I lose my unemployment benefits?

How long since the diagnosis? SSI has a 5 month elimination period. How will this diagnosis prevent you from working?

I was diagnosed on 12/23/10. Supposedly, this will go away after I deliver the baby, but I will still have to monitor this condition for another 6weeks after the delivery.
