Hi,
I used to be a FARMERS captive Agent. and I'd like to know how to get appointments with other top insurance compnay such as Murcury or Safeco. other words, how to represent the top P&C insurance companies to sell their products? or how do I get my agency to set up? I do not want to be an captive agent anymore...please help!

It's good to know that you've worked with the Farmers insurance co. How many years of experience do you have with the Farmers? It's always better to work as a captive agent for at least a couple of years to gain in terms of knowledge and experience before you'd set up your own agency.
