I purchased gap insurance when the car was purchased through the dealer, since that time the vehicle has been refinanced, is that policy still applicable to my vehicle?

I think I'd wait for more information to make things clearer to me. You haven't mentioned anything regarding the date of your vehicle refinance or purchase.

It depends if it was purchased thru the (orginal) lender or if it is part of your auto policy...

Hi Lori!

I believe it's not applicable if it had been purchased through the original lender. Or am I missing out on something?

No, your gap policy is not applicable if you have purchased through the original dealer as gap policy is non transferable.

Wrong, GAP is part of the original amount financed and is transffered to the new loan. GAP is not provided by the dealer.
