You need to take a 40 hour Property and Casualty Pre-Licensing Course and pass the state insurance exam if you are a resident license adjuster applicant. If you are a non-resident and you hold an adjuster license in your own home state, you can get a Georgia license through reciprocity. To get an insurance adjuster's license in Georgia, you must be 18 years of age.
