Do I have the right to disagree with the insurance regarding the salvage report, they paid me $1400
for my claimed which I found out cant buy replacement with same conditioned car to the car I previously used.
Prior to the accident I dont have any problem with my car but now all the burden is on my shoulder,
I'm still using my car and found out its against the law.
Can you advise me its unfair this happened to me
and its not my fault but I'm the suffering.
Thanks

Salvage is what your car is after the accident. What you want to discuss is the value of the vehicle prior to the accident... the $1400 (at least this is how I read it).
You need to find out how they arrived at their amount and review their information to make sure it's correct. You can argue with them all day long but unless you can show that the _selling_ prices in your area are higher, you probably are not going to get far. Where are you getting your information from? Keep in mind that vehicles seldom sell for their asking prices.

How is it against the law?

I'm guessing the nature of the damages make it unsafe.Add your comment
