i was hit bye a lady in a rental car and she had gieco insurance but they decide to use the rental car's insurnce.The insurance company gave me a rental for a week and asked that we take the rental car back when we settled for a price for the totaled car and they ask for the check, so we did. that was two weeks ago and we have yet to recieve a check. What should i do?

It might just be me.... but I'd call the insurance company and ask where the check is. Perhaps it got lost, perhaps they have the incorrect mailing address, perhaps it was never mailed. Regardless, you simply need to call the insurance company and ask.
If they never mailed the check, I'd ask for additional loss of use payment.

Is this check paid to you by the insurance company for your rental car?
Settlement proceeds can take time as there are no fixed time limit. But if the settlement has already been made, then you must find out the reason for such delay.You need to contact the insurance company and ask if they have sent the check to you at all.

Did you have a word with the adjuster regarding the cause of this delay?
I'm sure you've had some conversations with him during the course of your settlement and I see no harm in sharing your concern with him now. Last time I heard of such a problem was when the carrier had started further investigations on the cause of the damage.
