Most homeowners policy provide coverage for water leakage but you must review your policy to find out what kind of water leakage does your policy cover. Though water damage is the most common reason for people making claims on, yet the kind of water damage coverage provided by the insurance company varies from policy to policy.
You must also remember that seepage is considered to be a maintenance problem by most insurance companies. So it is excluded from your homeowners insurance coverage.
